Hasanuddin University (Unhas) Faculty of Animal Husbandry student, Muh Adjie Putra Pratama, won first place in the National Debate Competition organized by the Civic and Legal Education Student Association of Yogyakarta State University (HIMA PKnH UNY).
This national debate competition carries the theme “Realizing Indonesian Students who are Critical and Responsive to Actual Issues, in Order to Advance the Nation Through the Voice of the Young Generation.” This competition was attended by 16 universities throughout Indonesia with a total of 48 participants.
Adjie won first place with his team consisting of Aswita Maharani Ardianingsih from the Faculty of Law and Nur Afni Amelia from the Faculty of Agriculture. They managed to beat 15 other teams from various universities in Indonesia.
In the debate competition, Adjie’s team won the highest points by giving strong and systematic arguments. He proved that despite coming from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, his debating skills were worthy of praise.
Adjie said he was happy and proud to win first place in this national debate competition. He hopes that this victory can motivate other students to continue to excel.
Muh Adjie Putra Pratama and his team have proven that Indonesian students are capable of being a generation that is critical and responsive to actual issues, and have great potential in advancing the nation through the voice of the younger generation.
Their achievements also provide motivation for Unhas students and students throughout Indonesia to continue to excel in various fields of academic competition and prove that students are important agents of change for the progress of the nation.
