The Integrated Biotechnology Laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Science (Lab Bioternak) of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) made history as the first Faculty of Animal Science in Indonesia to receive the SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accreditation Certificate. Competency Requirements for Testing Laboratories and Calibration Laboratories as Testing Laboratories from the National Accreditation Committee (KAN).
The Bioternak Laboratory received the SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accreditation Certificate from KAN on February 1st, 2021 with accreditation number LP-1457-IDN through an Accreditation Decree (SK) with Letter Number 53/3.a.1.LAB/02/2021. The Accreditation Certificate covers the scope of testing for water content (1350C), ash content, crude fat, crude fiber, and crude protein in chicken concentrate feed.
By obtaining the SNI ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation Certificate, the Bioternak Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Science, Hasanuddin University is ready to compete globally to become a World Class University.
